We also use edited versions of songs, so they will be appropriate for all generations!
Third, all TH-Entertainment Colorado DJ’s go through 40+ hours of initial training, plus 10+ hours of continuing education every year. This means that they are prepared, as well as updated on trends and the changing environment of events. The initial training consists of music/mixing training, public speaking/announcement training, as well as shadowing multiple events. This is finished before they ever work on their own, to ensure the quality and consistency that TH-Entertainment Colorado DJ’s are known for. After the initial training, every DJ attends quarterly meetings to keep up to date with music, industry trends, and updated equipment! This also means your Colorado DJ is collaborating with the full team of TH-Entertainment DJ’s to share experiences and grow!
Fourth, your Colorado DJ will be using the newest and most up-to-date technology for your event. Have peace of mind that not only will all the equipment work properly, but it will also reflect a modern and clean aesthetic, without the messy appearance some DJ setup’s have. It’s also a flexible and mobile setup, so if you do not have a lot of room or need to move to multiple locations we can accommodate these requests. Your Colorado DJ will also arrive in business casual attire, and will wear a fitted, pressed suit unless otherwise arranged. We take pride in the overall appearance of our DJ’s and setup and want to make sure we can exceed your expectations.
Fifth, our focus is on DJ/MC work and nothing else. Besides offering additional lighting, we focus only on being the best Colorado DJ/MC company that we can be. Communication
We understand that every event has its own unique vision, and having the ability to discuss this directly with everyone involved is essential. And it’s no different for your DJ! Any details and desires you have can be communicated directly with the same Colorado DJ who will be performing the day of the event. This eliminates any miscommunications that can arise by indirect communication, and it helps build rapport between you and the DJ. We want you to be excited about who you are hiring, which is why we allow you to pick your DJ and communicate with them openly throughout the entire planning process.
THE Process
So how does choosing a Colorado DJ work? When you inquire about a DJ for an event, we can see who is available and recommend someone for your event based on a few quick questions. For example, if you have an exciting and upbeat event, we can recommend someone with a lot of energy! If you have more of a chill, lounge-style event, we can recommend someone as well. Then we connect you directly with that DJ, who can set up an in-person, phone, or video call meeting so you can get to know them better and decide if they are a good fit for your event. From there, that Colorado DJ will be your point of contact, where you can share every detail and wish for your event.

Your DJ/MC will be prepared to make any and all announcements throughout the event. Our approach to announcements is to stay professional and energetic. You will not have to worry about your Colorado DJ making tasteless, corny jokes, or singing to the crowd. We’ve heard many stories of DJ’s turning into comedians or magicians but this is not who we are or what we do. You can even customize the amount and energy of announcements with your DJ. Some events only need minimal announcements, while some need much more in-depth instructions or guidance. Your DJ is prepared for any situation and will happily cater to your needs.
Coordination
As well as DJ/MC duties, your Colorado DJ will be able to help coordinate the events and people of the event. Because you develop a timeline with them, they will be able to make announcements in a timely fashion, as well as coordinate with other vendors to make sure everything flows smoothly and no one is left behind or forgotten about. Many times DJ’s make announcements without checking to see if everything is ready beforehand. Fear not! We understand that things happen that are out of your control. Sometimes you need to call an audible or change things around during the event. You can be sure that your Colorado DJ is prepared to roll with the punches if things need to change or adapt to the situation at hand. We are dedicated to each event from start to finish, and can help work through any issues that arise without any undue stress. We always arrive 2 hours early, which gives us plenty of time to set up all equipment and also coordinate all the details of the timeline before guests arrive. We believe in being prepared as well as having backups to all our systems so we can continue even if something goes wrong. All TH-Entertainment DJ’s are trained to mix all different genres of music, and we have an edited library to avoid any negative language. We can also make announcements and help with the flow of the event to make sure everything runs smoothly!
Bat Mitzvah & Bar Mitzvah Events
Life is full of celebrations, and we’re here to help! With custom music and timelines, you can craft your bar/bat mitzvah any way you would like. We’re also experienced with the different traditions, so let us know what you would like and we can gladly help! Your DJ will act and dress professionally, and interact as much or as little as you like.
Quinceañera
There are some celebrations that are truly a “once-in-a-lifetime” experience, and we want to make sure that yours is treated this way! From start to finish, you’ll have your own TH-Entertainment DJ who will listen to your vision and help it come to life. We’re also very familiar with the traditions for quinceañeras and can coordinate them if desired. Also ask about our bilingual DJ’s who can help make announcements in English and Spanish!
